Books include two biographies in Cecil Woolf’s The War Poets series, Drummond Allison: Come, Let Us Pity Death and in preparation, F. W. Harvey: Poet of Remembrance.
Ashgate Publishing is to publish a major study, ‘A Student in Arms’: Donald Hankey and Edwardian Society at War.
Dr Davies’s Nine Elms Press imprint has recently launched a local history series beginning with Volume One of Vauxhall: A Little History.
As a Fleet Street journalist, he has written for The Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily and The Sunday Telegraphs, as well as the Evening Standard and Financial Times.
